We then continued from Route 66, stopped to photograph two awesome VW Bugs and a jackrabbit, towards Montezuma Castle National Monument.
Although the path to the ruins are now closed due to vandalism, the Montezuma Castle is with a doubt the most impressive Indian ruins we have seen thus far. Named incorrectly the ruin was in fact not a castle but just pueblos to the Hohokam people (translating to “those who have gone”).

Since the walk to the monument was at most a mile long walk along a paved path, it took us less than half an hour to see it all before we left for Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
