Saguaro National Park/Chiricahua National Monument

Practically inside of the city limits of Tucson Arizona, we were able to visit the huge organ pipe cacti of Saguaro National Park.

The park is one of the smaller of the National Parks that has one main scenic drive through the desert of cacti. The drive took us about an hour and this included stopping a couple of times to take some photos.

It seems that a lot of the parks are popular to specific outdoor sports. For instance Yosemite is a popular rock climbing location and Saguaro is a big bicycling park. When we went there were more bicycles than cars riding around the park.
