Houston, Texas

We spent Thanksgiving morning driving from San Antonio to Houston Texas. It was so nice to have such a wonderful dinner and visit with my family.

Thank you again for having us and Jason and I hope to see you all soon!

One of Jason’s favorite stadium, Minute Maid Park Home of the Astros, is located in Houston. So took a break from the family to tour the stadium.

It cost us nine dollars each for a hour tour. With three other families, we toured through the stadium Suites, Diamond club, press box as well as the dug out and field.

After the tour we decided to walk around  the city for about an hour until we had to be back for dinner.

It was a wonderful four days in Houston. Not only was I able to visit with family but Jason and I had the most delicious BBQ and overall best food we’ve eaten in a while.

San Antonio, Texas

With Thanksgiving two days away, we left Big Bend National Park early in the morning and drove East towards San Antonio and Houston Texas.

We arrived at San Antonio in the evening  and decided to spend the night right outside of the city. San Antonio is a beautiful city so we decided to spend the night walking around the city.

Everything we wanted to see in San Antonio was in walking distance from where we parked the car.

The Alamo

We walked around the Alamo and down The River Walk. The San Antonio river flows right through the city and resting along the riverside are tons of shops and restaurants.

It was a nice walk along the river but the humidity was too much, so we decided to call it a night after dinner at one of the restaurants.
