Golden Gate at night and Muir Woods

Excited to see the San Francisco skyline, we drove to the vista point just North of the Golden Gate bridge. Even though we arrived at sunset, it was nice to see the bridge and city all lit up. Since we still wanted to visit Muir woods before San Fran, we called it a night and drove about an hour away.

Just North of the Golden Gate bridge is a spectacular glimpse of Redwood trees called Muir woods. It is definitely a very peaceful walk and a nice escape for those coming from the city and surrounding urban areas.

However, since we had spent so much time climbing all over the Redwoods in the National Park, Muir woods didn't impress us as much as it did to the hundreds of people walking around.
